Local Dogs will soon have a new place to play as Stage 1 of the upgrades to Frank Green Park in Port Pirie got underway this week.
Construction of a base for a new small dog area fence and walking paths has begun.
Creation of a new Crystal Brook Dog Park has also started, with new boundary fencing and gates already installed and a new shelter to be built mid-September.

Both dog parks in Port Pirie and Crystal Brook will benefit from the addition of dog play equipment, drinking fountains and furniture under the shelters.
All work on both parks is expected to be completed by October.
