Kimba has been recognised as a leader in regional healthcare.
Kimba Mayor Dean Johnson announced yesterday that the town is a finalist for the 2023 Excellence in Public Health Award.
Mayor Johnson says they have several projects worthy of recognition, and the can-do community is proud to be recognised.

One such project is the new medical centre with all the latest technology, which the mayor says was a massive undertaking for a small town.
The winner of the award will be announced on Thursday.
