Port Pirie is looking at a clean future with the Council’s ‘Greening Port Pirie Program’, and locals have two days left to provide feedback.
The program aims to make public spaces more accessible and inviting, with a focus on reducing lead dust to improve community health and wellbeing.
The Port Pirie Regional Council is working alongside SA Water and the Department for Environment and Water with $4.2 million in state funding to deliver the project.
Some key locations set for a transformation are The Terrace, Memorial Drive, and the Phoenix Park Wetlands.
The Landscaping Concept Design is available for comment via an online survey, which closes on Wednesday 7 February, 5pm.
