The Mother of the Mallala man who died while climbing Mount Everest has spoken of his bravery.
Jason Kennison was deprived of oxygen and lost consciousness after scaling the landmark on Friday with poor weather impacting his descent.
The 40 year old, former Balaklava high school student, suffered a spinal cord injury in a car crash in his 20s and had to learn to walk again.
