Police have arrested seven youths after driving a stolen car from Adelaide to Whyalla Monday night.
A stolen black Subaru was spotted by police on the Lincoln Highway, north of Whyalla after it had been reported stolen from a Broadview home on Sunday.
Police pursued the car as it continued south on the highway towards Whyalla but lost sight after its tyres were spiked on Arthur Glennie Drive.
The vehicle was later found abandoned in scrub between McBryde Terrace and Charles Avenue.
Officers searched the area and found seven youths hiding in the back yard of a property, all seven were arrested and charged.
The 7 charged were between 13 and 15 years old and were refused police bail and appeared in the Whyalla Youth Court yesterday.
They were charged with illegal use and engaging in a police pursuit among other.
