Volunteers in Port Augusta are being thanked for their hard work.
The Port Augusta City Council recently held an event at the Wadlata outback centre to recognize and celebrate the invaluable contributions of volunteers in the community.
Mayor Linley Shine and CEO John Banks expressed their gratitude and highlighted the significant role of volunteering in various sectors such as education, emergency services, sports, arts, social services, and more.
Amanda Rowe, a volunteer at the Council-managed Childcare Centre since July 1993, was honoured during the ceremony with the Premier’s Certificate.
