Port Pirie residents to benefit from expanded clean-up program

As part of the Port Pirie Lead Abatement Project, improvements to 49 homes will be carried out – six more than originally planned.

Minister for Human Services Nat Cook says homes where children under five-years-old live are top priority.

Works include sealing windows and door gaps, covering dirt with gravel, installing undercover play areas with synthetic turf, and improving stormwater drainage.
