Educators in regional areas of South Australia will now have their country teacher allowance locked in permanently.
The State Government Wednesday announced that the allowance will no longer expire after a set period .. in the hopes of keeping teachers in the regions for longer.
Education Minister Blair Boyer says it’s also about bringing teachers out from the cities as well.
