The Gather Round Community Footy Roadshow arrives in the Spencer Gulf this weekend, bringing along footy clinics, premiership cups and training workshops.
Port Pirie Memorial Oval is the first stop in the region, followed by Port Augusta and Whyalla.
Memorial Oval in both Port Pirie and Whyalla will play host as part of the initiative, along with South Augusta FC and various schools.
SANFL’s Head of Game Development Brad Humphrey says putting more resources into the regional roadshow is a no-brainer after last year.
“We were overwhelmed with the response from the Gather Round Roadshow from last year, and that reinforced the fact that we’re very keen to continue to invest in it and demonstrate to regional communities how highly we value their contribution.”
Visits in Port Augusta and Whyalla are scheduled for Monday and Tuesday.
