The South Australian Tourism Commission’s Regional Event Fund for 2023-24 is set to bolster 33 regional events throughout the state, boosting tourism and further elevating South Australia’s booming regional visitor economy.
Recent figures show regional tourism surged to an all-time high of $4.47 billion in the year leading to March 2023, a remarkable 25% increase from pre-pandemic levels. Notable events like Auburn Frenchfest, Clare Valley Festival of the Lamb, and Clare Valley Gourmet Week will be supported by the fund in the region.
Applications for the 2024/25 Regional Event Fund will open in February next year.
