The South Australian Agricultural Town of the Year Award nominations have been revealed for 2023.
With TWELVE local towns nominated (ORROROO, ARDROSSN, BRINKWORTH, CLARE, PORT BROUGHTON, YUNTA, KOOLUNGA, MAITLAND, MOONTA, CRYSTAL BROOK, JAMESTOWN and KADINA) amongst forty-five nominated towns.
Key agricultural industries in these areas include cereal crops, livestock, meat and wool, seafood, and wine grape crops.
Now into its fifth year, the award recognises regional communities making a significant contribution to the agriculture sector and the state’s economy.
Voting closes on June 28th — with the top ten to be announced in July and the number one to be announced on November 9th.
