Three people have been arrested after trying to break into a house in Port Augusta yesterday morning.
Just before 3am police were called to Stuart terrace after reports people were in the backyard trying to get into a house through the back door.
Patrols were on scene quickly and located three persons matching the description of the suspects. All three were arrested for being on premises for an unlawful purpose.

A 34-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman both from Port Augusta were bailed to attend court at a later date. A 25-year-old man also from Port Augusta was refused bail and will attended the Port Augusta Magistrates Court yesterday.
