A truck stolen from Willaston on Main North Road was recovered in Kadina on Saturday, 4 May, and the thief was arrested.
The truck was stolen from a service station around 3:30am while the driver was inside making a delivery.
The truck driver’s phone was still in the cab, and the vehicle was tracked as it headed north across the Adelaide Plains.
When the truck stopped at a Kadina service station around 5:30am, police arrested the driver.
The 41-year-old woman was charged with illegal use, refused bail, and will appear in Port Pirie Magistrates Court today.
The truck will be returned to the victim.
