The Working Women’s Centre SA, in partnership with other organizations, will be conducting sexual harassment seminars in the Upper Spencer Gulf to provide workplace advice and education from May 15-18, 2023.
These seminars will be presented by Abbey Kendall, who will cover Respect at Work, which details developments in law and cultural reform over the last five years.
Ms Kendall said that sexual harassment is still a major issue in the workplace and that the statistics have not improved despite recent reforms.
The event will also include a legal clinic in the afternoon, where lawyers will be available to provide advice, information, or referrals to help with workplace problems and issues involving family law, child protection, and domestic violence.
Seminars will be in Port Pirie, Port Augusta and Whyalla, full dates and booking a spot can be done on the Working Women’s Centre SA website.
